Our History
JP Soccer began as a vision to create something more than a soccer club—a place where young athletes could learn, grow, and be inspired every day. What started in Putnam Valley, NY, as a small local program has grown into a full-fledged development academy and home to Just Play Soccer Club (JPSC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to youth empowerment through soccer.
Over the years, our facility has expanded, our programs have multiplied, and thousands of players have come through our fields—some going on to play in college, professionally, or coach the next generation. Through it all, our foundation has stayed the same: joy in the game, purpose in our training, and pride in the community we build.
From the beginning, this has always been more than a game. It’s a legacy of growth, belonging, and believing in every child’s potential.

At JP Soccer, our mission is to develop complete soccer players who are technically skilled, mentally strong, and grounded in values that extend beyond the field.
We are committed to providing a training environment where discipline, responsibility, hard work, and respect are the foundation. Our goal is not only to prepare players for success in the game but also to help shape confident, respectful, and resilient individuals.

Founded with a vision to inspire and uplift young athletes, Joe Palumbo Soccer Academy and Just Play Soccer Club have grown into pillars of development in Putnam Valley, NY. From our earliest teams to today’s thriving programs, we’ve remained committed to the complete growth of every player—on and off the field.
